Department of Physics

“Science is a beautiful gift to humanity; we should not distort it.” – A. P. J. Abdul Kalam

The Department of Physics was established in the year 1995 in order to motivate the rural students and provide higher education in the field of science. The department was uplifted has the post graduate department in the year 2013 with full strength to enhance and motivate the rural students towards the fields of research in physics.

The department strives to provide quality education to make the students competent in all aspects with the help of the well qualified, committed and experienced friendly faculties. Over the years, the department has become one of the best centres for quality higher learning offered at the level of post-graduate and research programs.

Vision

Our vision is academic effort to rural girls giving advanced education. To build a platform for excellence in the creation of knowledge through research in physics at different levels. To assist with creating a scientific society, this empowers logical thinking.

Mission

To bring out the young minds and find their talents both in theory and in practical physics. To prepare our students to be morally and professionally responsible adults. Giving undergraduate and postgraduate students research experience so that they can contribute to scientific endeavours. To develop strategy in the department for continuous Improvement.
