B.Ed. English or Bachelor of Education in English is an undergraduate Education
course. This course is a two years program which equips the teacher trainees with the latest knowledge and skills in the English Language Teaching (ELT). B.Ed. (English) degree study teaches a person about various aspects associated with teaching and aims to provide global perspectives to the professional aspects of ELT. This degree course is very important for becoming teacher as during the course the students are given wide knowledge of that how to handle the complex situations during teaching. As for career scope of this degree is concerned it is wide-spread; they can join
schools, special teachers for B.Ed. colleges and can run their own educational institutions.

Mathematics

B.Ed in Mathematics is a 2 year undergraduate course that studies Mathematics in detail. This course is primarily taken up by those students who wish to teach the subject Mathematics in the higher secondary level of education that is between the classes 6th to 10th. This course imparts knowledge about Mathematics and includes topics like Arithmetic, Trigonometry, Algebra, Geometry and other related topics.

Students who have studied mathematics in their graduation level can go for this degree. Mathematics is a very crucial and important subject that is taught in almost every school and college of India, at least till the higher secondary level. This is a very important stage for students as learners as it builds the base for those students who wish to take up mathematics in the senior secondary level of education.

Physical Science

The students are provided with Learning by doing training method to fulfill the needs of the present young children’s. The department has well equipped lab where all practical work related to high school and higher secondary school level are carried out and enable the students to develop proper skills in handling equipment and manual. Teaching of science is more important to the present generation to face the future challenges of the nation’s development. In that view our physical science department motivates the student teachers by the following activities. Organizing a science club to strengthen the student teachers content knowledge and also motivate them to conduct the club in schools to improve the children’s knowledge. The recent explosion of knowledge has a direct impact on the life of students. Mini projects to be given to student teachers to improve their innovative thinking. Students are taken to industrial visit to nearby companies to give real experience about production sector. Self-learning method is too adapted with the guidance of experience faculties.

Biological Science

Biology is the discipline of science concerning the human body and its relationship with the environment in general. Interested aspirants hail from areas such as research, academia, conservation centers, laboratories, consulting firms, non-for-profit, and private companies. Biology is subdivided into Zoology & Botany. Zoology concerns the study of the animal kingdom and Botany studies the plant kingdom. Enrolled students are imparted lessons in nuances of the discipline, particularly how the body functions and is affected by external factors, its mechanisms and disorders.

Computer Science

B.Ed in Computer Science graduates are in high demand to teach Computers at various levels of school. Commerce is usually taught in the senior secondary level of education (classes 11th and 12th) under the commerce stream. A student who has passed Higher Secondary, that is, completed class 10th or Matric can choose many streams after their 10th standard. The streams include Science, Commerce and Arts.
